August Publications was formed in 2002 with the launch of Ballpark Digest. Since that time the company has grown from a single employee working out of a home to a diversified publishing firm featuring Websites, books and other merchandise.Our motto is simple: We enjoy doing cool things and are overjoyed we can make a living doing so.Our company’s offerings are broken along two lines:Our sports sites include Ballpark Digest, Arena Digest and Spring Training Online. Our first four books, The Complete Guide to Spring Training (now in its second edition), The Complete Guide to Big League Ballparks, Homer: The Small-Town Baseball Odyssey, and Cradle of the Game: Baseball and Ballparks in North Carolina, are geared toward sports fans as well.Our outdoor site is Yellowstone Insider, a complete guide to America’s first national park.
